Oil & Gas Awards
After a successful 2014 that saw awards handed out to the outstanding oil and gas companies of the Southwest, Midcontinent and West Coast regions, The Oil & Gas Awards is looking forward to 2015 and its third annual ceremonies. Nominations for the Rocky Mountain, Gulf Coast and Northeast regions have been collected in advance of the next round of gala awards dinners to be held in March.
The event’s organizers have reported great turnouts for its series of industry summits that gather some of the leading minds in the energy sector to dissect and discuss the most pressing issues facing the marketplace. The organizers also announced recently that they had formed new partnerships with industry organizations such as the North Dakota Petroleum Council, the South Dakota Oil & Gas Association and the Colorado Association of Commerce & Industry.
In this special section, Energy & Mining International takes a look at some of the companies that were honored at this year’s Oil & Gas Awards. These include Light Tower Rentals, which provides light towers used on numerous oil and gas sites throughout all major U.S. production basins. According to CEO Ted Hogan, the company’s success and growth are the direct result of the way Light Tower Rentals treats its customers. “We’re second-to-none with our service model and relationships,” he says. “We’ve built up business with our customers and have been blessed to be able to grow.”
Also featured in this section is Hawk Industries, which won Manufacturer of the Year for the West Coast region. The California-based manufacturer of specialty drilling tools for the oil and gas industry was recognized for its innovative technologies and the reliability of its equipment.
The Oil & Gas Awards celebrates the leading companies in the oil and gas sector by awarding the best and brightest across 25 categories. Along with operational excellence and innovation, the Oil & Gas Awards recognizes companies for their dedication and accomplishments in areas including safety and corporate responsibility.
